This signal is used to control the direction of the data to or from
the printer port.
When this bit is set to "0", bit 7 of the control register is
disabled, and only output from the printer port is enabled.

C.1 GENERAL
Bus drive gate array includes the data bus and address driver that
control the buses between the CPU and memory, or the CPU and I/O
devices.
This gate array also includes the decode circuit for chip select
signals, by which the devices connected to the I/O bus can be
selected.
