Three icons appear in the WINBIOS security Setup screen. These icons are:
• Supervisor
• User
• Anti-Virus
Supervisor and user icons
The Supervisor and the User icons configure password support. If you use the
Supervisor and User passwords, the Supervisor password must be set first.
Two levels of passwords
The system can be configured so that all users must enter a password every
time the system boots, or when WINBIOS Setup is executed, using either the
supervisor password or user password. Both passwords have the same level of
access to make changes to the system settings.
If the supervisor password is used to enter the BIOS screens the user password
can be changed or deleted without knowing the current user password.
If you do not want to use a password, press <Enter> when the password prompt
appears.
