Messages
If a call is not answered by the time auto answer is running, the mailbox
picks up the call. Following playback of the greeting and a beep, the mail-
box saves the message. When a new message is listened to, it is marked
as "listened to" after you exit this menu item. When a message is deleted,
it is no longer available and can no longer be accessed.
Callback to user
If a caller who has left a message in a mailbox provides his phone number
during the call (
CLIP), this number is assigned to the message. A caller
who has left a message can therefore be called back.
Greeting
Every mailbox has two default greetings. These can be replaced by person-
al greetings (max. length: 1 minute). You can toggle between the two
greetings at any time. When a personal greeting is deleted, the default
greeting is restored.
Mailbox (on / off)
When a mailbox is switched off, no greeting is played back and no messag-
es are recorded. If this station is now called, the telephone rings without
call pickup by an answer machine.
