CFNR
Abbreviation for "Call Forwarding NO Reply".
Call Forwarding No Reply forwards all calls to a definable forwarding desti-
nation if the call is not answered within a definable period of time.
CLIP
Abbreviation for "Calling Line Identification Presentation".
Refers to presentation of the calling line. The user can see the caller's num-
ber in the telephone display (the caller must not have

Abbreviation for "Calling Line Identification Restriction".
Refers to the suppression of the calling line. This means that in the case of
outgoing calls, your number will not be signalled to the station being
called.
CoS
Abbreviation for "Class Of Service".
Assignment of call restrictions for numbers that are allowed/not allowed.
DDI
Abbreviation for "Direct Dialing In".
Direct inward dialing from a telephone network to a station in a private tele-
phone system with a system connection.
DHCP
Abbreviation for "Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol".
The server of the same name performs the dynamic assignment of IP ad-
dresses and other configuration parameters to computers in an IP-based
network.
DMZ
Abbreviation for "De-Militarized Zone".
A computer that is configured as a DMZ host can be accessed from the
Internet without any restrictions. The security functions that are possible
through the use of NAT, for example, are thus disabled for this host. Great
care must therefore be taken when specifying a DMZ host.
HTML
Abbreviation for "Hypertext Markup Language".
Markup language widely used on the Internet for the creation of web pag-
