TRANSMISSION OIL

LEVEL CHECK

1) Park the scooter on flat ground and set it on its centre
stand.
2) Put a container under the engine crankcase.
3) Unscrew oil filler cap (A) and drain plug (B), and allow
the oil to flow out.
4) Allow the oil to drain out into the container for a few
minutes (beware of burns).
5) Refit and tighten the drain plug to the prescribed torque
setting:
Tightening torque: 22 N*m / 2.2 kg*m.
6) Fill the crankcase with the recommended type of oil
Recommended oil: Q8 T35 - 80W
Capacity: 0,25l
7) Fit the filler cap.
Oil change: after the first 1,000 km and every 12,000
km thereafter
1) Perform the operations described in points 1-2-3-4-5.
2) Fill the crankcase with new oil of the recommended
type.
Recommended oil: Q8 T35 - 80W
Capacity: 0,25l
3) Fit the filler cap.
Perform this operation with the engine off
and when it is cold.
NOTE Regularly check for oil leaks in the area around
the drain plug at the rear wheel.
NOTE Prevent foreign material from entering the
transmission case during checks or oil chang-
es. Prevent oil from dripping onto the tyres or
wheels.
Waste oil must be consigned to an author-
ised collection centre in accordance with
statutory legislation.
