C) COOLANT TEMPERATURE
GAUGE FUNCTION (WTEMP)
• Provides information on the radiator fluid tempera-
ture
Coolant temperature is displayed in graphic form by
means of an 8-segment bar on the left-hand side of the
display, accompanied by the radiator fluid symbol.
When the eighth and final segment is reached (maxi-
mum engine temperature), the relative red alarm light
illuminates. In this case the rider must stop the
scooter and switch off the engine as soon as it is safe
to do so.
NOTE If the "Engine stop" button is "OFF" the water
temperature graph is not displayed.

ALARMS FUNCTION

A) ICE ALARM:
• Indicates the possible presence of ice on the road
The function is displayed for 5 seconds every 2 min-
utes when the sensor detects an ambient temperature
of 4°C or lower. The message 'ICE' will remain steadily
lit on the display during function selection to remind the
rider that there may be ice on the road; this condition
persists until the sensor reading is 6 °C or higher.
B) BATTERY CHARGE ALARM (VBATT):
• Shows the battery charge level
The battery icon appears along with the message 'MIN.';
if the battery is flat with the engine off, this indication
appears in flashing mode.
C) OIL CHANGE ALARM:
• Prompts the rider to execute a scheduled service
The
symbol appears, with the message "OIL CHA".
This indication will flash for 1 minute when the ignition
key is turned on if the limit for a scheduled service (see
MAINTENANCE TABLE) has been reached. It is the
responsibility of local Authorised MALAGUTI Service
Centres to reset the warning lights and counters once
the relative service operations have been completed.
