CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL
IN THE STANCHION
If the front suspension bottoms out or makes anomalous
noises, check the oil level in the stanchions as follows:
• Remove the upper cap (A).
• Remove the seeger ring (B) by using a screw driver to
press the cap (C) downwards (complete with O-ring (D).
• Carefully remove the spring (E) and let oil drip completely
from it.
• Bring the shaft (F) to control stop (below) (F), keeping
it perfectly vertical.
• With the aid of a rule or a gauge rod, check the oil
level. The correct level is 110 mm from the upper edge
of the stanchion.
• Top up with Q8 FORK OIL if necessary
