PASSWORD 250 i.e.

FUEL LEVEL SENSOR

• (Remove seat).
• (Remove seat lock).
• (Remove helmet compartment).
• Open clamp (A) and free the electrical cable; discon-
nect connector (B) and undo screws (V4).
During this procedure do not use heat and
keep sparks and naked flames well clear of
the scooter. If the tank remains without the
fuel level sensor fitted for a prolonged peri-
od, plug the hole to prevent the accumula-
tion of petrol vapour in the workshop.
• Remove sensor (C).
When removing the sensor, take care when
the float is being extracted through the hole
in the tank.
When reassembling MAKE SURE the float
is facing the FRONT of the scooter.
FUEL PUMP
• Disconnect the connector (A)
• Use an open-end wrench and apply pressure on the
two pipe-fixing ring nuts while removing the connectors
at the same time, with their connected pipes.
• Unscrew the ring nut (B) and remove the fuel pump.
