Installing driven variator

Caution:
Installed position of belt: wording to the outside.
•
Lay belt in position between the two belt contact
faces.
•
Grease needle roller.
•
Spray variator shaft splines.
•
Check position of spring.
Operating fluids:
Needle roller.......................................... Shell HDX2

Note:
Press up and at the same time turn upper belt plate
clockwise to push belt inwards between the two
plates.

Squeeze lengths of belt together and install to-
gether with driven variator.
•
Loop belt between plates of driving variator.
•
Mount variator on variator shaft.
