Vehicles without smart entry and start
system—The wireless remote control
will not operate when the engine switch
is set at the "ACC" or "ON" position.
Vehicles with smart entry and start sys-
tem—The wireless remote control will
not operate when the "ENGINE START
STOP" switch is turned to ACCESSORY
or IGNITION ON mode.
To lock and unlock all the doors, push
the switches of the key slowly and se-
curely.
To lock: Push the lock switch. All the
doors are locked simultaneously. At this
time, the turn signal lights flash once.
The turn signal lights can be not to flash.
For details, contact any authorized Toyota
dealer or repairer, or another duly quali-
fied and equipped professional.
Check to see that all the doors are se-
curely locked.
Vehicles without smart entry and start sys-
tem—If the key is in the engine switch,
locking cannot be performed by the lock
switch.
