GAUGES, METERS AND SERVICE REMINDER INDICATORS
CHECKING SERVICE
INDICATORS (except the low fuel level
warning light and master warning light)
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Vehicles without smart entry and start
system—Set the engine switch at the
"ON" position, but do not start the en-
gine.
Vehicles with smart entry and start
system—Set the "ENGINE
STOP" switch at IGNITION ON mode,
but do not start the engine.
All the service reminder indicators
should come on.
The following service reminder indica-
tors go off after a few seconds:
"ABS" warning light
D
VSC OFF indicator light
D
Slip indicator light
D
"AUTO LSD" indicator light
D
Four−wheel drive lock indicator light
D
Downhill assist control system indicator
D
light
The SRS warning light goes off after
about 6 seconds.
If any service reminder indicator or warn-
ing buzzer does not function as described
above, have it checked by any authorized
Toyota dealer or repairer, or another duly
qualified and equipped professional, as
soon as possible.
