*1: For copying, potential control is executed as follows: VD, 8 times max.; VL1, 8 times
max.; and VL2, once.
*2: For printing, potential control is executed as follows: VD, 8 times max.; VL1, 8 times
max.; VL2, once.
*3: If the surface temperature of the fixing roller is 150ºC or higher when the power switch
is turned on, the machine will assume that potential control for power-on has been ex-
ecuted once, thus not executing it any more. (This, however, does not apply if potential
control ended in error or potential control is executed in service mode.)
*4: If the surface temperature of the fixing roller when the power is turned on is 100ºC or
lower, the primary/pre-transfer/transfer/separation charging wire will be cleaned.
(Cleaning is also executed each time 2000 copies have been made.)
