CHAPTER 8 PAPER DECK
3.3.3 Removing the Deck Lifter Motor (M102)
1) Open the compartment of the deck, and
remove all paper.
2) Turn on the host machine; if the lifter of
the deck is up, push the sensor lever [1]
of the paper supply position sensor
found inside the compartment with your
finger to move the lifter [2] about 7 cm
from the base plate of the compartment.
Then, insert a hex wrench into the hole
of the lifter drive shaft [3] to hold the
shaft in place.
