add modem <modem_name> <initialization_string>
<modem_name>
The name of the modem. Do not use spaces.
<initialization_string>
The initialisation string of the modem; see your modem's documentation.
delete modem <config_modem_name>
<config_modem_name>
You can see a the list of modems that can be deleted by typing
show modems
