Tightening torque:
Pivot mounts of main stand, M 8 (stud (3))
(clean thread + Loctite 243).......................... 21 Nm
Pivot mount of main (centre) stand M 8
(machine screw) ........................................... 21 Nm
Carrier plate to engine block M 12
(machine screw)
(clean thread + Loctite 2701)........................ 72 Nm
Carrier plate to engine block M 8
(countersunk screw) ..................................... 21 Nm
Carrier plate to engine block, left, M 8
(machine screw) ........................................... 21 Nm

Removing and installing side stand

Place the motorcycle on its main (centre) stand.
•
Disconnect tension springs.
•
Disconnect plug (1) from the side-stand switch
and remove the switch.
•
Remove side stand.
•
Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure.

Note:
When installing, make sure that the offset is correct-
ly positioned (arrow) relative to the spring retainer.

Note routing of cables.
Lubricant:......................... Staburags NBU 30 PTM
