DMINISTRATOR FUNCTIONS
Administrator functions are accessible by MENU * 1881 : Hidden Fonctions
• RESTART : Reboot the machine.
• STANDBY: Change the running state of the machine into sleeping mode.
• FORMAT DISK: Allow to format the HDD,
Remark (s) : A message of confirmation will be request before the formatting
• PRINT: Gives access to the menu specializes to print reports
- SETTINGS: Print the values of SOS, SSH SERVER, FTP SERVER, REMOTE READING
- COUNTERS: Print information for the service ( counters and configuration).
- LIST OF MODULES: Print the version of system , boot loader , nucleus applications , linux
applications and file systems.
- TRACES: Print the traces of communications.
- ALL: Print all data above.
• RESET: Gives access to the menu specializes to reset parameters values.
Caution : There is no message to confirm the reset; in case of reset, information will be lost
- SETTINGS: Erase the parameters ( values by default).
- ADDRESS BOOK: Erase the address book.
- USER RIGHTS: Erase the users rights.
- LOG: Erase the logs.
- COUNTERS :
- ACTIVITIES: Resets activity counter values.
- ERRORS : Resets errors list.
- CONSUMABLES : Set to 0 (zero) all consumable values.
Caution : A new smart card will be necessary to initialise consumables.
- ALL : Reset all functions above.
- DOCUMENT: Gives access to the menu specializes to erase documents.
- FAX : Erase all fax store into the machine.
- MAIL: Erase all mail store into the machine.
- PRINT: Erase all documents to be printed.
- ALL: Erase all documents above.
- ALL : Erase settings, address book, user rights, log, counters and documents.
Caution : a new smart card will be necessary to initialise consumables and it will be
necessary to configure again the machine.
• SOFTWARE : Gives access to the menu specializes to allow ways of upgrading firmware.
- ACCEPT EMAIL : set or reset the capability to upgrade firmware by mail.
- ACCEPT WEB : set or reset the capability to upgrade firmware by the website.
- ACCEPT KEY : set or reset the capability to upgrade firmware by usb key.
• PURGE : Gives access to the menu specializes to erase fax and stop pending communications.
- FAXES RECEIVED : Erase all fax received.
- CANCEL 1ST FAX : Erase the first fax to be sent.
- CANCEL ALL COMM. : Stop all active comunication.
