Follow the steps below to enter text in your spreadsheet. If you make a
mistake while typing, press

to backspace over it, and retype. Or, if
you've already pressed

ENTER
I, reselect the cell, and type the correct entry.
Entering Text
Notice that the command marker highlights the Edit command, the one
you use most frequently when building a spreadsheet. To enter text:
I. Press W to choose the Edit command. The EDIT command field
appears.
2. Type "Revenue".
Revenue
appears in RICI. The quotation marks do
not appear in the cell.
3. Press
OJ
twice. The marker highlights R3C 1.
4. Type "Overhead", and press
OJ.
5. Type "Materials", and press
OJ.
6. Type "Advertising", and press
OJ
twice.
7. Type "Costs", and press
OJ
twice.
8. Type "Profit". Press I
ENTER
Ito return to the command menu.
Your spreadsheet now looks like this:
