Beaming Information to Other SPT 1700 Terminals

Your SPT 1700 terminal is equipped with an IR (infrared) port that can "beam" information
to other compatible printers and terminals. The IR port is located on the back of the terminal.
See Parts of the SPT 1700 on page 1-4 for the exact location of the IR port.
Note: If you are using a device other than an SPT 1700 terminal, confirm
that your device includes the required infrared hardware before you
use this feature.
You can beam the following information between SPT 1700 terminals:
The current Address Book, Date Book, To Do List or Memo Pad entry

All the Address Book, To Do List or Memo Pad entries in the current category

A special Address Book entry which you designate as your "business card" (see
