    Q u i c k R e f e r e n c e Getting Started Before you can use your SPT 1800, perform the basic setup procedures: • Install and charge the battery • Start the SPT 1800 • Initiate the network connection (184X only).
  • Page 8 S P T 1 8 0 0 S e r i e s Caution: The main battery charges the backup battery in the SPT 1800. Once the battery is fully charged, do not re- move it from the SPT 1800 for 24 hours. During this pe- riod, the SPT 1800 cannot maintain any user data if the battery is removed from the terminal.
