Remove the locking lever. See
2.
Disconnect the cable to remove the locking level card.

1.
Remove all output options from the printer.
2.
Remove the upper guide. See
3.
Remove 13 screws (A) from the bottom of the transport unit..
4.
Remove the two screws (B) from the edge of the transport unit.
