6.17.5 DUPLEX TRAY FEED MECHANISM

In duplex mode, after the paper leaves the inverter, the duplex inverter gate
solenoid [A] switches the junction gate [B] to direct the paper to the duplex tray.
The paper is fed through the duplex tray by duplex transport rollers 1 [C], 2 [D], 3
[E], and the duplex feed roller [F].
If duplex mode is not selected, the solenoid does not switch the junction gate, and
the paper goes to the output tray or finisher face down.
