2·13 PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND TUNE·UP PROCEDURES
TIRES
Inspect tire pressure and damage each time the
motorcycle is redden
TIRE TREAD CONDITION
Operating the motorcycle with
excessively
worn
tires
will
decrease
riding stability
and
consequently
invite
a
danger·
ous
situation.
It
is I:lighly
recom
mend
ed to
replace tire when
the
remaining
depth of
tire
tread
re
aches
the
follow ing
specification
.
Tire tread depth limit
Front &
Rear:
4 .0 mm 10.16 in)
TIRE PRESSURE
If the tire pressure is too high or too
low, stee ring
will be
adversely affected
and tire
wear
increased
. Therefore. main·
tain the
correct
tire pressure for good roadability
or shorte
r
tire
life will result.

recommended to use a SUZUKI Genuine Tire
.
SPOKE NIPPLES
Inspect each time the motorcycle is ridden
.
Check
t
o
be
sure
that
all nipples are
tight,
and retighten
them
as
necessary with
a
special
tool.
