Rear Swingarm Inspection And Disassembly - Suzuki DR350 Service Manual

• Remove the chain buffer.
• Remove the chain case.
• Remove the suspension mounting nut and bolt.
• Remove the shock absorber with the reservoi r tank .
INSPECTION AND DISASSEMBLY
Inspect the shock absorber for oil leakage or other damage.
REAR SWINGARM
Inspect the swing arm bearings by hand while mounted in
the swing arm . Rotate the bearing spacer to inspect for ab-
normal moise and smooth rotation.
Replace the bearing
if
there is anything unusual.
In spect the dust seals.
If
they are found to be damage,
replace them with new ones.
• Remove the dust seals and spacars .
• Remove the bearings with the special tools .
