• Remove the cam stopper
CD
and cam stopper plate

by
removing
the bolt.
• Remove the spacer
@ .
• Remove the primary drive gear by removing the nut with
the special tool.

CAUTION ;
This nut has left· hand thread .
• Remove the cam chain and key
0.
• Remove the crankcase securing bolts .
• Separate the crankcase, right and left with th e special
tool .

NOTE:
Fit the crankcase separs ting tool.
so
that the tool plate ;s
parsllel with the end face of the crankcase.
The crankshaft and transmission components must remain
in the left crankcase half.
