 WARNING
If you ride this motorcycle after
brake system repair or brake pad
replacement without pumping the
brake lever, you may get poor
braking performance which could
result in an accident.
After brake system repair or brake
pad replacement, pump the brake
lever several times until brake
pads are pressed against the
brake disks and proper lever
stroke and firm feel are restored.
NOTE: Do not squeeze the brake
lever when the pads are not in their
positions. It is difficult to push the pis-
tons back and brake fluid leakage
may result.
 WARNING
Replacing only one of the two
brake pads can result in uneven
braking action and can increase
your chance of having an acci-
