6·" CHASSIS
• Loosen the front fork upper and lower clamp bolts and
remove the front fork .
NOTE:
Slightly loosen the front fork cap bolt facilitate later disas*
sembly, before loosening the lower clamp bolt.
• Remove the cap bolt and spring .
• In vert the fork and stroke it several times to let out fork
oil.
• Under the condition (inverted condition), hold the fork
for a few minutes .
• Remove the boot.
• Loo sen the damper rod bolt with the specia l too ls.

• Remove the damper rod from the outer tube .
• Remove the dust seal
CD.
• Remove the oil seal stopper ring
®.
CAUTION :
The rem ov ed dust seal and oil seal should be replaced .
