metrical position , and align the punched marks

as
shown in the illustration.
CRANKCASE BEARINGS
Inspect the play of the crankcase bearings by hand while
they are in the right and left crankcases . Rot ate each cran k-
case bearing inner race by hand to inspect for abnormal noise
and smooth rotation . Replace the bearing if there is anything
unusual.
NOTE:
When reassembling the bearing retainer, appl y
a
small quan-
tity of THREAD LOCK SUPER "1303/ 1322 " to the bearing
retainer screws.
