The exceptions to forced arming option:
–
Silent Alarm
Enabling this option can set the zone to mute alarm. Silent alarm will not trigger the output of
keypad buzzer and the output of the type of event of system audio alarm, but can trigger the
output of the type of event of system alarm (both sound and silent) and the alarm event can
still be transmitted according to programming path.
Zone Locking
The zone locking option of each zone can be set to a non-locking, 1 time locking, 3 time
locking, 6 time locking and follow alarm time.
For unlocking, set the zone locking option to 0 to disable the zone locking function.
3 times of alarm locking
If the locking option is set to 2, the zone can only transmit up to 3 times of alarm report in
each arming period. After zone re-disarming re-arming, the locking count will be reset.
The AMAX panel will process locking according to the following logic:

6 times of alarm locking
Similar to 3 times of alarm locking, with alarm limited to not more than 6 times.
Locking occurs within the period of alarm output time. Repeating the process of alarm locking
in the period of alarm output time, without limit to times.
Zone Tamper
The system supports the tamper detection of the zone. This function ensures that the zone is
in normal operating status. The process is as follows:

If the zone is programmed to disable 24-hour zone tamper, the wiring method for single-
terminal resistor is required. If the zone detests alarm, the zone will process according to
specified zone type.

When the keypad or key switch zone is used to execute system arming, the system shows
the zone status at first. If a zone in triggering status is not bypassed and the forced
arming option is in enabled status, the system is successfully armed. If the zone is still
not recovered at the end of the exit delay time, the system shows the fault report of the
zone.
When the fault is recovered, a zone recovery report is sent.
In telephone and programming software remote arming, forced arming is available even if
the zone is programmed as enabled or disabled forced arming.
When the zone or zone tamper is trigger and siren alarm is resulted, within the period of
alarm output time, the AMAX panel will ignore the status detection of the zone.
When the alarm rings 3 times, the zone will be locked.
If the alarm occurs in the locked zone, the zone will send zone fault report.
Before the end of the alarm output time, ten zone recovery event will not be transmitted.
If the zone locking option is disabled, the times of alarms will not be restrained. Even
when other zones are locked, that zone can still generate the alarm.
If 24-hour zone tamper is enabled, the wiring method for two-terminal resistor is
required.
If the zone detects that the 24-hour tamper is triggered, the zone tamper alarm will be
processed the same as 24-hour zone.
If the zone detests zone alarm, the zone will process according to specified zone type.
