Before you begin
Remove any staples or paper clips.

Check that the originals in the automatic document feeder have the same size.

Check that the originals are not curled.

How to staple the copies
Put the originals face down and in readable form into the automatic document

feeder.
Use the original guides to align the original.

Select the function key for 'Copy'.

Set the number of staples. Select 0, 1 or 2 staples in the 'Basic' section.

Set the required settings in the other 3 sections ('Paper', 'Layout' and 'Extra')

(see 'Types of copy job settings' on page 72).
Enter the number of copies.
