2.4.2.2 Windows Explorer
Note: The examples in this User's Guide show you how to use Microsoft's Windows XP to
browse your shared files. Refer to your operating system's documentation for how
to browse your file structure.
Open Windows Explorer to share files in the attached USB device using Windows Explorer browser.

In Windows Explorer's Address bar type a double backslash "\\" followed by the IP address of the

Device (the default IP address of the Device is 192.168.1.1) and press [ENTER]. A screen asking for
password authentication appears. Type the user name and password you set up for file sharing and
click OK.

Note: Once you log in to the file share via your Device, you do not have to log in again
unless you restart your computer.

2.5 How to Share a USB Printer via Your Device

Your Device can act as a print server and let the computers on your network use the USB printer
that is connected to the Device's USB port.
