10.2.1 Add New User

Click Add new user in the File Sharing screen to set up a new user on the Device.

DESCRIPTION
Click this to delete the user account(s) who's Delete check box is selected.
This field displays whether a user account is activated or not. Select the check
box to enable the account. Clear the check box to disable the account.
This displays the user name that has been configured on the Device for file
sharing.
Select the check box of the user account that you want to remove from the list.
Click this to save your changes to the Device.
Click this to set every field in this screen to its last-saved value.
DESCRIPTION
Enter a user name that will be allowed to access shares. You can enter up to 16
characters. Only letters and numbers allowed.
Enter the password used to access the share. You can enter up to 16 characters.
Only letters and numbers are allowed. The password is case sensitive.
Retype the password that you entered above.
Click this to save your changes to the Device.
