Hardware Installations and Upgrades
3. Install the 8x2.5'' Hotswap Hard drives cage. For instructions, see "Installing 8x2.5'' Hotswap Hard
Drive Cage Assembly".
4. Install the front bezel. For instructions, see "Installing the Front Bezel (Pedestal Only)".
5. Install the air duct if the air duct is removed. For instructions, see "Installing the Airduct".
6. Install the chassis cover. For instructions, see "Installing the Chassis Cover".
7. Plug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable into the server.
8. Power up the server.

This procedure applies only to the Intel
cage configuration.
1. Open the Hotswap HDD door
2. Remove the drive carrier by pressing the green button and opening the lever (see letter A). Then slide the
carrier out (see letter B).
