Clearing Password

1.
See the section "Preparing for Installation and Removal" as described in Chapter 9 of this
guide to prepare.
2.
Remove the left side cover (see Chapter 9).
3.
Check the location of jumper switch to clear the password.
4.
Change jumper switch setting according to the figure on the previous page.
5.
Plug the power cord, connect the keyboard/mouse and display unit to your server, then
turn on the server.
6.
POST stops at the error message shown below.

8151 Password Cleared By Jumper
Press <F1> to resume, <F2> to Setup
7.
Turn off the power of the server, and unplug the power cord from your server. Restore the
jumper strap removed in Step 4.

Install the left side cover, and connect cables for peripheral devices and power cord..
