MILLIVOLT BOARD REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

NOTE: This fireplace is equipped with the millivolt board, burner & burner cover already installed. Follow instructions 'INSTALLING THE
BOARD' on page #24 to properly secure the millivolt board in place. Follow these procedures should the millivolt board need replacing
or is removed for servicing.
MILLIVOLT BOARD REMOVAL:
CAUTION: If the burner and/or pilot has been burning, the logs and refractory will be hot and continue to hold heat. Use the appropriate
protection to avoid burns and place them on a properly protected surface upon removal to avoid damage to flooring or personal property.
1. Remove the full door face. Refer to page #18 for additional information if necessary.
2. Turn the black control knob on the gas valve to the 'OFF' position.
3. Shut off the gas supply at the manual shut-off valve.
4. Disconnect the gas line flex tube from the manual shut-off valve.
5. Disconnect any wall switch, remote control or thermostat wires from the top & bottom terminals on the gas valve.
6. Remove glass assembly. Refer to page #11 for additional information if necessary.
7. Remove the logs and ember refractory from the burner assembly and set aside on the properly protected surface.
8. Remove the pilot shield.
9. Remove the screw securing the burner assembly.
10. Remove the burner assembly by lifting it up while slightly tilting the right side releasing it from the burner orifice. Remove the burner
assembly from the firebox.

11. Loosen and remove the (7) screws securing
the board. Refer to Figure 21B.
12. Carefully lift the board up & remove from the firebox.
