VENTING REQUIREMENTS:

THIS FIREPLACE IS APPROVED FOR USE WITH THE FOLLOWING 5" X 8" DIRECT VENT SYSTEMS FOR HORIZONTAL AND
VERTICAL TERMINATIONS: SIMPSON DURA-VENT DV-GS, AMERI-VENT & SELKIRK METALBESTOS.
THIS FIREPLACE IS DESIGNED TO BE USED WITH ANY OF THE ABOVE VENT SYSTEMS WITHOUT THE USE OF AN ADDITIONAL
ADAPTOR.
NOTE: THE RLH DECORATIVE CAPS MAY ALSO BE USED ON THIS FIREPLACE.
Contact your dealer for the appropriate venting components for your specific application.
Refer to the vent system manufacturer's installation manual for complete installation instructions. Installation must conform with the venting
requirements & restrictions as outlined in this manual.
IMPORTANT: Consult the local and national installation codes to assure that adequate combustion and ventilation air is available.
SECURING THE VENT SYSTEM:
All Horizontal & Vertical Applications
To secure the vent system to the fireplace, 3 evenly spaced tabs have been incorporated into the fireplace top.
1. Bend the (3) tabs on the fireplace top to the 'up' position.
2. Install the first vent pipe section in its proper position.
3. Secure the vent system to the fireplace through the tabs with 3 screws.
Using the tabs at the top of the fireplace, secure vent pipe section to the fireplace with screws.
