General information on paging calls

The tiptel 195 supports the automatic selection and sending of messages via a paging service.
As every paging service requires a different access procedure, your tiptel 195 offers you the opti-
on of a freely adjustable access procedure.

Store pager message

The message addressed to a pager is stored as additional information within the electronic tele-
phone book.

Enter name and press

Enter the telephone number of the
paging network and of the addressee.
Please consider:
Sometimes, paging services change their access procedure. We recommend that you test the
function before attempting to use.
If desired:
1.
Press the speed dialling station next
to the display line "settings".
2.
Press the speed dialling station next
to "information" and enter message.

Press the

button twice.
The electronic telephone book is opened.
The name must begin with a letter.
Use the following signs:
0 ... 9, * star button, # hatch button, wait for
announcement.
The cursor jumps in the information field.
You can now enter the message to be sent to
the paging receiver.
Please consider the maximum length of
the message and the allowed range of
characters.
only tone: no entry necessary
numeric: numbers only
The entry is stored in the electronic telepho-
ne book.
