Changing the PIN code

With your PIN code you can prevent unauthorised use of your telephone. The PIN code is requi-
red to restrict functions and to "unlock" your telephone.
From the initial state, press the following
buttons: , settings
Menu
PIN .
1. Enter the already programmed PIN
code.
2. Press .
3. Enter new PIN code.
4. Press .

In the factory pre-set, the PIN code is "000".
If the correct code has been entered, "enter
new PIN" is displayed.
Your new PIN may consist of a combination
of numbers or letters. The length of the PIN
code may range from 1 to 10 digits. Please
make sure to remember your new PIN code
before storing it.
The new PIN code is stored. The display swit-
ches to the earlier menu.
