Telephone calls
Before answering the call, you want to see the transferred message. The "i" symbol is display-
ed next to the calling party's number if a message was left.
1. Press the speed dialling station next
to the display "i".
The caller will be diverted to another extension (This service needs to be activated by
your local telecommunications company.):
1. Press the speed dialling station next
to the display line "additional
functions".
2. Press the speed dialling station next
to the display line "call diversion
(CD)".
3. Press the
Programming "Special Services" offered by your telephone network
Your local telephone network or cable operator may offer special services, e. g. call waiting, call
diversion. Insructions on how to program these services via your keypad can be obtained from
your telephone network provider.
Please note: These services usually incur a quarterly charge.

Sub-addressing
In addition to the original telephone number (multiple subscriber number) you can also enter a
sub-address which as an example may serve for remote control. All you need to do is enter an
"S" after the telephone number and then dial the sub-address. The entry can only be made
during the off-line call preparation or in the electronic telephone book. The tiptel 195 does not
evaluate incoming sub-addresses.

are connected to the caller after picking up
the handset.
A selection menu is displayed.
The default destination number for call diver-
sions is displayed. You may confirm this
extension number by the "enter" button or
overwrite this number with another number.
The call is diverted to the corresponding
extension number.
