Setting call waiting

If you receive an incoming call while holding a telephone conversation, you can determine
whether a call waiting signal shall be emitted during the existing conversation (see also chapter
"call waiting").
From the initial state, press the following

PABX parameters

Here, you can define the PABX parameters for your telephone.
Access to the public exchange
If your tiptel 195 is operated within a PABX, you have to dial the access number for the public
exchange (this is in most cases 0). If you want to make a call, this number has to be entered
before dialling the target telephone number. If you want to make a call within the network of the
PABX you have to press the

Area code
Enter the area code of your local network. In the call list, incoming calls from within this network
will then be displayed without the area code.

The display only considers multiple subscri-
