File Menu

The FM Wave Composer menu bar provides access to standard
Windows commands such as File and Edit.
In some cases, clicking on a new menu selection opens a dialog box
with an additional list of choices. Then, clicking on an additional item,
may open a dialog box or generate an immediate action. For exam-
ple, Clicking on File and then Exit causes immediate termination of
the FM Wave Composer. On the other hand, clicking on Wave and
then on Square opens the Square Wave dialog box which lets you
program and edit square wave parameters. The various commands
in the FM Wave Composer menu bar are listed and described below.

The File menu has 4 entries, which control waveform files. Also, use
this menu to exit the FM Wave Composer program. Descriptions of
the various commands under File follow.
New Waveform
The New Waveform command will remove the waveform from the
screen. If you made changes to the waveform area and use this
command, you should save your work before clearing the screen.
The New Waveform command is destructive to the displayed wave-
form.
