2-24 Installation
The ArbDetector allows you to specify the actual slot where your i n -
strument resides. This is important in systems that have multiple
chassis' and multiple arbs, regardless of weather you are using
chassis connected in a "star" or serial configuration. After you specify
the location of the instrument, external applications like ArbConnec-
tion can access these parameters and program the specific instru-
ment you need to access. To program slot location, click on the Set-
tings... tab. The Settings tab is shown in Figure 2-27.

The Slot Configuration as shown in Figure 2-27 is the end result after
assignment of the Chassis number and Slot parameters. To add or
edit these parameters, click on the Edit button. The Edit dialog box
displays as shown in Figure 2-28.
