The File menu has four commands which, control waveform files.
Also use this command to print the active waveform, or to exit the
Wave Composer program. Description of the various menu selec-
tions under the File menu, one given below.
New Waveform
The New Waveform menu selection clears the waveform presently
displayed on the WaveCAD graph. If you made changes to the
waveform graph and use the New Waveform command, you may
want to save your work before clearing the screen. The New Wave-
form command is destructive to the displayed waveform.
Open Waveform...
The Open Waveform... menu selection lets you browse your com-
puter for previously saved waveform files and loads these wave-
forms onto the waveform graph. This selection is also useful for
converting waveform file formats. The Open Waveform command
can convert ASCII, *.CSV (comma delimited text), *.PRN (space
delimited text) and *.0* (LeCroy binary format).
