APPENDIX 8: REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS

For the purpose of inspecting the insert itself or the fireplace, your insert may need to be
removed. To remove your insert follow these instructions:
 Unscrew the faceplate fastener (B) holding the faceplate (D) to the faceplate extension (C).
 Remove faceplate (D) by pulling on it.
 Remove faceplate extension (C).
 Unclip the blower assembly (E).
 Remove the three screws securing the pipe connector (A).
 Unscrew the bolts securing the insert to the floor on each side of the unit (F).
