APPENDIX 4: REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS

For the purpose of inspecting the insert itself or the fireplace, your insert may need to be
removed. To remove your insert follow these instructions:
• Remove the upper louvers assembly (A) held in place by the screw (B).
• Remove the door (C) from its hinges.
• Remove the blower assembly (D).
• Remove the finish handle (E) from the air control rod mechanism.
• Remove the faceplate (F) held in place by four screws (G).
• Remove the three screws securing the pipe connectors (H).
• Unscrew the four levelling bolts (I) located on each side of the insert.
