9 Transfer the files:
Type "put Fw0000430x.bin bulk:" (where 'x' denotes the revision letter) to begin the file
transfers. It will take a few seconds to transfer the file.
The process sequences through several blocks – this may take several minutes. When the
upgrade image has been received, the image will be written to flash memory and the message
"UPLOAD COMPLETE" will be displayed.
10 Verify the file transfer.
a) Terminate the FTP session by typing "bye" and closing the Command-line window.
b) Verify that the new file loaded, either by using the CLI or Web Server Interface as per
11 Change the desired image to boot. Via the Web Server Interface's 'Admin | Firmware' page,
use the 'Boot From:' drop-down menu to select Latest, Slot 1, or Slot 2. By default, the unit
will boot to the version with the latest date (Boot From: Latest).
"Boot From:" can otherwise be set to force the unit to boot up using either firmware image
loaded in Slot 1 or Slot 2.
12 Reboot the CDM-800. The firmware upgrade is implemented at this time.
Flash Upgrading of the CDM-800 Gateway Router is now complete.
