Job Information in the Command Jobs Window

The Command Jobs window provides information about each scan—the category, status,
object (job name), start time, the component that scheduled it, and its progress.
The category for all Enterprise Scanner jobs is Scanning.
The following table describes the statuses that apply to scanning jobs:
Status
Description
Cancelled
The job was stopped by the Cancel command.
Complete
All the scanning tasks in the job have finished running.
Expired
The job did not run to completion before a new scanning cycle started.
Note: Scanning cycles begin at midnight on the first day of the cycle, but this
status may not immediately appear for jobs in this state.
Idle
One of the following:
The agent is aware that a job is available, but a scan window is not open.
The scan was disabled in the Scan Control policy.
Paused
The job was stopped by the Pause command.
Pending
The job scheduler in SiteProtector is communicating with the Agent to inform it
that a job is assigned to it. Jobs are normally in this state briefly.
Processing
A scan window is open, and a task is running.

The Command for all Enterprise Scanner jobs is Remote Scan.
The Object column contains the value of the Job name that you can customize in the Scan
Control policy for the job.
Choose a name that easily identifies the scan for you. For example, you might want to

name scans for a group named CorporateAssets, CorpAssets AH Discover and
CorpAssets BG Discover.
The Start Time column displays the time the job started to run.
The Scheduled By column displays the SiteProtector computer_name/user_name based
on resolving the Security ID of the logged-on user.
The Progress column indicates the completion status of the job. Progress is shown by a
progress bar and a percentage of completion. The percentage may decrease temporarily if
you stop and restart a job that must rerun subtasks.
