IBM Proventia Network Enterprise Scanner User Guide, Version 1.3
Alert logs display errors, warnings, and informational messages. You can define the type
of errors you want to send to SiteProtector in the Notifications Policy.
You can determine the risk level of an event by the icon in the Risk Level column of the log
file:
Icon
Description
A low risk event.
A medium risk event.
A high risk event.

The following table describes the information included about events in the Alert log:

You can view the Alert log page in two ways:
Click Alerts on any page in Proventia Manager.
On the navigation pane of the Proventia Manager, select Logs, and then select Alerts.
To view detailed information about an alert:
Click the event name in the Alert Name column of the log file.
Click the Up or Down arrows to view details of the previous or next alert.
Tip:
To view alert descriptions:
Click the event information icon
The X-Force Alert Description of the event appears.
Description
Record number of the alert.
An icon that indicates the risk level for the alert.
The alert name.
The source IP address for the alert.
The destination IP address of the event.
The date and time of the alert.
