System Log Descriptions

Introduction
Log file descriptions The following table describes the system logs for Enterprise Scanner:

System log files are snapshots of events and usage information about the appliance.

To view the System logs:
On the navigation pane in Proventia Manager, select Logs, and then select System
Logs.
Description
The architecture services log. The log file contains low-level
debugging information from the management services library
resulting from the scheduler's interactions with the Asset Service and
Task Service. This log file is for debugging problems involving
interaction with these services.
Low-level communication log for the Configuration and Response
Module (CRM), providing information about issdk/issDaemon
communications with SiteProtector.
Note: This log file is created as
log file name is changed about half way through the initialization of
the CRM.
The stdout and stderr output for the Enterprise Scanner task
scheduler. This log file normally shouldn't be used or necessary; it
includes errors that are only displayed to stdout/stderr for debugging
purposes.
Contains messages regarding the status of the Scheduler process.
The stdout and stderr output for the ESM blade. This log file normally
shouldn't be used or necessary; it includes errors that are only
displayed to stdout/stderr for debugging purposes.
Contains messages regarding the status of the ESM process.
