Defining Services to Run on the Agent (Services Policy)

IBM Proventia Network Enterprise Scanner User Guide, Version 1.3
Use the Services Policy to enable the ability to run command line functions from a remote
computer over the internal interface of your agent. By default, SSH is enabled, but you can
disable it in the Services Policy.
If you disable SSH, you cannot run remote command line functions on the

To enable SSH for the internal interface:
1. In the SiteProtector Console, set up a tab to display agent policies. (See page 74.)
2. On the navigation pane, expand the Enterprise Scanner agent.
3. Select the Services policy.
4. In the SSH section, do one of the following:
To enable SSH, select the Enabled check box.
To disable SSH, clear the Enabled check box.
5. Click Save Changes.
