ing files, deleting files stored on this equipment, and updating the software on Imagistics Printer
Utility.

About the Maintenance Functions

In the Maintenance menu of the Imagistics Printer Utility administrator mode, an administrator
can perform the following maintenance:
An administrator can upload client software that allows users to download to their computers
from Imagistics Printer Utility. This maintenance feature is used to upload new versions of soft-
ware in Imagistics Printer Utility.
An administrator can remove client software that restricts users from downloading software
from Imagistics Printer Utility. This maintenance feature is used to disable specific software in
Imagistics Printer Utility.
An administrator can create backup files of address book, mailboxes, and templates in the hard
disk. This maintenance feature is used to create the backup files before updating the system
software or hard disk replacement, etc.
An administrator can restore the address book, mailboxes, and templates data from the backup
files. This maintenance feature is used to restore the data after updating the system software or
hard disk replacement, etc.
An administrator can delete scanned data, transmission data, and reception data in the hard disk.
This maintenance feature must be operated periodically to maintain the hard disk space for
future operation.
An administrator can register the directory service properties of the LDAP (Lightweight Direc-
tory Access Protocol) server.
An administrator can enable the notifications by Emails and specify the events causing the noti-
fications.
This equipment allows you to import and export address book data in CSV format.
